2010 Focus – Let there be Light!

I’ve not set a focus for the year ahead before. Sure I’ve made resolutions and broken them by 2nd Jan in previous years, but a focus for the whole year isn’t something I’ve tried before.  I like the idea of having an overall intention for the year to increase my clarity and focus about what I want to create in my life.

Initially I thought that my focus would simply be increasing my health. For the last three months of 2009 I have had every ailment going: flu, allergic reaction to medication, numerous colds and simply feeling well below par.  But the idea of focusing just on health doesn’t excite me.  It’s important – definitely, because feeling unwell is having a bad effect on achieving my intentions – but just saying ‘I’m focusing on my health’ sounds a bit blah to me.  For some reason that phrase doesn’t excite me.

A lighter life

So I started thinking about what health means to me and I realised it means filling my life up with light. So how can I apply this?

  • I want to eat light fresh zinging sun food: delicious juicy fruit that has ripened in the sun – mangos, oranges, lemons, limes, papaya, fresh blueberries, strawberries, raspberries apples, peaches, avocados, coconuts.   It’s making me hungry just thinking about it!
  • I want to eat loads and loads of fresh greens – essentially liquid chlorophyll, the part of the plant that converts sunlight to energy.  Greens are so vital to our health because they contain essential amino acids and minerals that are often deficient in our diets.
  • I want to sungaze every day because when I did that in the summer it felt great.
  • I want to have a holiday in the sun this year and expose my whole body to the warm rays.
  • I want to get out in the fresh air every day and breathe deeply.
  • I want to do more energy work such as quantum touch, which literally increases your energetic vibration.
  • I want to glow with radiance and health and I want to spread love and light and joy to everyone I meet.

Now while eating fruit and greens and breathing fresh are all healthful practises that you would find in most health books – thinking about it in terms of light seems so much more appealing.  Rather than asking myself if a food is ‘good’ or ‘bad’ for me, I will be asking myself if it will make me dull, or will it make me glow!

I’ve set myself some good habits to get into to help me achieve this goal.  I’ve decided to start small, and build on a solid foundation rather than overwhelming myself with a long to do list.  I’ve created a short daily checklist of simple tasks to do each day so I can tick them off as I go along.  It includes having a fresh green juice and green smoothie everyday to get an abundance of nutrition into me. I will also be doing some lymph moving exercise – either bouncing on a trampoline, or doing T-tapp routine as well as a new skincare routine from Beautiful on Raw.  I want to get into the habit of doing these small actions automatically so that I can build on them in the future.  Each of the actions is something that excites me and inspires me – none of it is a chore.

My business.
So how can I bring more light into my business?  I’ve realised that I want to look at creating more in-depth relationships with my clients.  I love doing the Soul Realignment Readings but I’m finding that I want to work deeper over a longer period with my clients.  I want to work closely with them, to really connect and understand them and to support them in practical challenging work creating real world changes once we have made the major energetic shifts that makes all things possible.

My aim is to put together a confidence-coaching package in the next few weeks that will help my clients transform the way they feel about themselves and their lives.

Again asking myself does this idea make me dull or glow – the answer is definitely ‘glow‘!

I’m also in the process of planning a workshop with another Soul Realignment practitioner about opening to channel spiritual information.   I’m really excited about this and I think it is going to be a really interesting workshop.

If you are interested in finding out more about how to connect with your higher-self and spirit guides, or the confidence coaching package then please contact me using the contact form and I’ll make sure I send you details as soon as they are ready.

Here’s to a lighter 2010!
